Update 3 to Operation Kingsgate

Dear all,

A further update: Leonard John Jones, 26 years, of Rhodes Way, Furness Green, Crawley, was this afternoon (November 3) charged with manslaughter and two charges of dangerous driving. Jones will appear at Crawley Magistrates' Court tomorrow morning.

The charge is in connection with the hit and run incident in Copthorne on October 28, in which pedestrian Joanna Hakesley, 70, of Bramble Close, was injured and later died.

As Jones has now been charged it is unlikely there will be further updates in the near future, however if there are I will keep you informed.
